Help for those affected by the wildfires
As we continue to navigate the devastating impacts of the California wildfires, our hearts go out to all who have been affected. The CAO board enacted a calling tree to check in with members in zip codes impacted by the fires. Through these efforts, we have identified that two of our members have tragically lost their offices. We have also had a dozen members in close proximity reach out to the CAO, offering to help with their needs. We are committed to providing them, and any of you who may need it, with the support and resources necessary to recover.
How You Can Help or Receive Help
If your practice has been impacted or if you’re in a position to assist others, please take a moment to complete the following forms:
- CAO Fire Assistance Inquiry
Help us coordinate support for members in need. If your office can provide temporary workspace, lend equipment, or assist in any other way, let us know. - CAO Wildfire Impact Survey
Share the specific ways the wildfires have affected your practice, patients, or personal life to help us tailor support efforts.
